I am passionate about social justice and community efforts- and that’s what brings me to FLOC! I am currently the Associate Director of a local non-profit called WHW(Women Helping Women/Men2Work) which means I am in charge of our program operations and grants, volunteer operations with a focus on corporations, and the development of other projects such as special events, fundraising, outreach, etc. Check out the website at www.whw.org and come by and say hi- I’d love to give you a tour!

I have been a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 2 years now- and love that as well!

I am a Graphics Artists/Photographer. I received my B.F.A out of Cal State Long Beach. I currently work for a Marketing Company that caters to the Airspace and Airline Industry. I try to be as much involved in community services. I have an on going participation with The American Heart Association and The Consuming Theatre Arts Project. I am excited and looking forward to my participation with F.L.O.C.

As a member of the LMU community, the education of the whole person has been an important concept for me, one however that can become difficult to remember as we all get busy with the various time requests placed upon us. This organization, for me, is a good way to ensure it consistently remains a more focused point.

Misty DeLomba is a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual, the Waltos Group in Newport Beach. She has been with the firm since 2007, after graduating with a BS in Finance from California State University, Long Beach.

Misty is passionate about community, and is involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters Orange County, CSU Long Beach Corporate Mentoring Program, and the Humane Society.

Misty grew up in Palm Springs and frequently goes back to visit family.

I am the Coordinator of Outreach for Campus Ministry at Loyola Marymount University where I have worked for the past three years and I am finishing up a Masters in Theology. Before that I was the Director of Communications for a small post-production company and have worked in entertainment management.
